Seersucker is made by what is called a slack-tension weave, where groups of yarn are bunched together in certain portions of the fabric created a puckered, almost wrinkled look to the fabric. In fact, it’s usually unnecessary to iron seersucker garments because they are supposed to look slightly wrinkly. The puckering effect of the weave creates a wonderful feature in seersucker garments. They tend to be much cooler to wear because airspace is created between the body and parts of the clothing. Our unique combination of thermal and reactive chemicals will maintain 99% of the ink in fabric with most ink jet printers. Simply heat set with a household iron to create vivid and permanent images. 100% Cotton Seersucker White Pretreated Fabric - 10 Sheets!
