Double Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Makes 3 dozen





2 sticks soften salted butter

¾ cups of sugar

¾ cups light brown sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 tsp butter flavoring

1 tbsp corn syrup

2 eggs

2 cups of flour

2/3 cups of Hershey’s Powdered Coco 

1 tsp salt

1 tsp baking soda

2 cups chocolate chunk chips

8oz chopped walnuts



Preheat Oven 350 degrees


Baking instructions

1.     Cream together butter, sugars, vanilla, butter flavor and corn syrup in large mixing bowl. Mix for 5 minutes. Add eggs and mix 2 minutes.

2.     In a separate bowl mix together flour, coco, salt and baking soda. Gradually add dry mix to cream mixture. When well mixed add chocolate chunks and nuts, mix well.

3.     Roll dough into 2oz balls and press slightly with palm of hand 1/3 the size of the ball. Place on cookie sheet 1 inch apart.

4.     Bake for 8 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool on cookie rack.
