HEAVENLY FRIED CABBAGE
Serves 4- 6
 
 
Ingredients
 
1/2 cabbage head
1/4 cup birds eye pepper strips
1/2 cup sliced onion
3 tbsp canola oil
1 cup ham steak chopped in cubes
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
 
 
Directions
 
  1. Slice cabbage into stripes
  2. Heat oil in pan, toss in ham chunks and stir fry for 3 minutes
  3. Add peppers and onion, cook for 2 minutes
  4. Combine cabbage, a little at a time(stir fry)
  5. Add salt, pepper and stir fry for 2 minutes
  6. Pour vinegar and stir until cabbage is tender, but crispy, about 5 minutes
  7. Serve
 
 
Serves: 4-6
